Nadia Farooq is a Visiting Scholar with the Public Finance Research Cluster (PFRC). Her research focuses on regional and national tax policy analysis and data estimation, particularly looking at the impact of various Georgia tax policies on state revenues and expenditures. Her expertise extends to her role as an Economic Consultant at the Asian Development Bank, where she contributes to policy recommendations, macroeconomic framework and comprehensive fiscal analyses, including the design and maintenance of a fiscal monitor. Her extensive research contributions include journal articles, policy briefs, co-authored chapters in international publications, and reports on critical aspects of economic development, tax policy, and fiscal decentralization, both in South Asia and globally.
